Charles Ivey Specialist Cars
Following a recent news article, Are you Responsive? Brand Inventions has had a lot of requests from companies requiring ‘conversion’. The most recent to see the light (and opt for a mobile-responsive version of their website) is Charles Ivey Specialist Cars.
Brand Inventions designed a new website for the London-based Porsche specialist in May 2014 so for Charles Ivey (and other companies for whom Brand Inventions provide websites before January 15th 2015), it is somewhat irksome no doubt, to be asked to invest in the redevelopment of their website so soon after launch. This was not something they had to do, it was a decision they took after examining the evidence and weighing up the relative merits and benefits. The business relies very heavily on good positioning within search engines – specifically the provision of products and services, (identified by key words and search terms within a specific geographic area), in a highly competitive market place. They read the new Google directives, did their own research and were quickly convinced that this was an essential step to take so as not to get left behind.
Many companies are reluctant to invest in this work initially. But Ben urges clients to think of their websites as a continuing evolving mechanism that is working for their business. A static website is a dead website and is likely to be doing more harm to your business than good. You wouldn’t think twice about ensuring that your car was properly serviced and maintained. Consider updating and maintaining your website in much the same way so that it wont leave you stranded one day.
